Muze Entertainment presents the 2012 Soundcloud Global Meetup Day - MAY 17th Orlando

 Muze Entertainment has taken it upon themselves to host the Orlando chapter of the 2012 Soundcloud Global Meetup Day, an event that occurs around the world simultaneously and provides artists an excellent opportunity to network, collaborate, and make invaluable connections in the industry. This year's event, which will occur globally on May 17th, is set to be the biggest yet, with some events hosting over 300 artists and producers.

Previous years events have fallen through the cracks, mainly due to lack of organization. Josh Phillips, of Muze Entertainment, took it upon himself to organize this year's event, and hopes that this years event will prove lucrative for all involved.

Along with hosting the event, which will take place at Blank Space in downtown Orlando, Muze Entertainment will also be on hand to talk to artists interested in being distributed through their services. Currently, Muze Entertainment offers distribution to artists in over 40 stores online, including all the heavy hitters, such as Juno, Beatport, iTunes and AmazonMusic. Niche stores are also included in the distribution as well as streaming priviledges, which altogether offers artists pretty good exposure with great results!

Muze Entertainment teams up with Savage Race

Are you Savage? Muze Entertainment, who in the past year has secured accounts with major companies like Ultra Music Festival, sure is. And the second annual Savage Race, a 4-6 mile obstacle course designed to push you to your limits, has realized this. After looking into 6 different companies to provide audio and visual entertainment for the March 10th, 2012 race in Claremont, Florida, Savage Race chose Muze Entertainment to fill those needs. Energetic music and other crowd favorites will be provided by DJ Jefferson Funk, one of Orlando's hottest up-and-coming DJ/producers, and one of Muze Entertainment's star artists.





So what does this mean for you? Well, if you are one of the thousands of participants who plan on competing in this race, it means you are guaranteed to get the audio stimulation needed to keep you pumped up and, well... savage! Check out the advertisement for Savage Race below:

Jefferson Funk, Chris Shendo release updated new websites

Earlier this year, Chris Shendo and Jefferson Funk released their own websites, full with downloads and links to purchasable tracks. Thanks to this, both artists have seen an increase in their online presence and popularity overall.

It hasn't been incredibly easy, however. Chris's original website was flash-based, and had to be completely converted and re-written, due to browser-based errors and unfortunate placing. The newer version, in basic html coding, is noticeably easier to peruse and load, and has been tested in multiple browsers to ensure proper use. Chris Shendo's website now features a page filled with free downloads of his most recent remixes, a page with previews of all his tracks available in Beatport, iTunes, and more stores, a bio, and a contact page, all of which is a more stylish version of the original website.

Jefferson Funk's website has seen far less issues, as it was originally coded in html and had a little more time to develop. His site features a media page, full of links to other artists and both live mixes, original tracks, and remix/rerubs performed by Jefferson Funk and a Contact page.

The Re-Rub Competition

Muze Entertainment and MuzeTV are pleased to announce the launch of a new weekly competition, entitled 'The Re-Rub.' This competition will begin every Friday night, and will be a part of our weekly Monday night broadcast, Vynil Destination.

Rules are as follows:

1.) The re-rubber/artist can not add any sound or sample that is not in the original works. ( no samplers, no synths, no drum machines) 

           1a.) Effects (delay, reverb, chorus, flanger, phaser, etc) are allowed.

2.) All entries must be emailed to info@muzeentertainment.com by midnight on the following Sunday. This gives the re-rubber/artist 48 hours to finish their entry.

3.) All entries deemed worthy will be aired on Vinyl Destination, which airs every Monday night from 8pm-12am

4.) Voting will consist of a live, online poll, with that week's viewers as the judge. The Re-Rub with the most votes wins.

Winners of the Re-Rub competition will be contacted later in the week concerning the prize, which includes but is not limited to T-shirts, VST/AU/RTAS plugins, free music downloads, and more.
